COOL DOWN TRAILERS
Our Oil Field Trailers are designed and manufactured to offer the highest quality in the industry, built from standard floor plans to meet industry demands. Importantly, these trailers, also known as crew trailers, are specifically crafted for use in rugged environments, providing essential relief from extreme elements. Most importantly, each unit is equipped with powerful air conditioning to combat the intense summer heat often found in oil fields. Additionally, for year-round usability, these trailers are available with either electric or gas heating options for winter conditions.
COOL DOWN TRAILER CONFIGURATION
All cool down trailers are designed for maximum productivity and efficient space utilization. For example, each trailer is equipped with a designated area for a microwave, ensuring that employees can prepare snacks or lunch during breaks. Firstly, comfortable bench seating lines both sides of the trailer to provide ample resting space for crew members. Secondly, the front of the trailer offers valuable storage cabinets. Additionally, this area includes a microwave and refrigerator, enhancing convenience for the crew. Also, the driver’s side features space for a water cooler or storage lockers. Finally, coat hooks are strategically placed along the rear wall for easy access to jackets.
KEY FEATURES
These cool down trailers boast a variety of key features. For example, they come equipped with oversized tandem axles and a durable steel chassis frame as standard. Additionally, electric brakes on both axles ensure safe braking in conjunction with the tow vehicle. Next, safety chains are included for emergency preparedness, while upgraded radial tires enhance durability. stabilizer jacks mounted on the trailer provide added stability when the unit is set up on-site. Inside, electrical outlets are conveniently located for laptops, supporting classroom or instructional trailer sessions. Finally, fold-down workstations provide additional workspace for the crew.
DURABILITY
Cool down trailers by Rich Specialty Trailers are built to withstand harsh conditions. For instance, the exterior is made from dent-resistant, one-piece fiberglass walls and is reinforced with heavy aluminum corner and roof edging. In addition, the roof is available in a mold-resistant poly/fiberglass material, designed with a bowed truss that allows water and snow to roll off easily. Moreover, the entrance features a wide, durable door with LED porch lighting, a flip-out exterior grab handle, and fold-out steps for easy access. Mini gutters and spouts are installed to divert water from the roof edge.
ENERGY EFFICIENCY & MOBILITY
This cool down trailer is a highly mobile asset for the oil field industry, offering full insulation to reduce energy costs. Both the interior and exterior feature low-maintenance LED lights, eliminating the need for frequent bulb replacements. Importantly, the exterior transport lights are approved by both the US Department of Transportation and Transport Canada, ensuring compliance for safe travel across borders. Whether you need a break room, a place to escape the elements, or a mobile classroom, this trailer delivers exceptional value for your business operations.
